Wildlife Veterinary Care

Wildlife Veterinary Care (WVC) — founded by veteran wildlife rescuer and rehabilitator, Dr. Belinda Burwell — serves to provide free veterinary care for wildlife and educate individuals about wildlife and environmental issues that impact them. Dr. Burwell founded Valley Emergency Veterinary Hospital in 1998 and the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center in 2000 to fill the need for wildlife rescue and stewardship in northern Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. She founded Wildlife Vet Care (WVC) in 2015.
